My name is James Whitaker. I'm 28. I have been traveling around the world since November 2006. I run my internet business from my laptop. My friends think I'm crazy. I think it's crazy to sit a cubicle for more than 5 minutes in a single lifetime. These are my adventures.

My name is James Whitaker. I'm 29. I am back in America, running my internet business and ready to go back on the road for summer 09. These are my adventures.

My name is James Whitaker. I'm 30. I am back in San Luis Obispo for a few months while I decide what to do when I grow up. I still play and work with websites.

OBAMA BONAPARTE
So tomorrow Obama speaks at the Victory Tower (SiegessSaeule) in the center of the Tiergarten, in Berlin. Obama aint no fool. The historical irony, of course,  is that the Victory Tower partially celebrates Prussia’s victory over Napolean; the man who famously took the crown from the Pope and decided to annoint himself emperor of France. And in much the same fashion, Obama is just as effectively anointing himself the next American president. While McCain makes town hall speeches to senior citizens and stutters along to the teleprompter, Obama has taken to the world stage in the likeness of JFK and Ronald Reagan…and in Berlin no less, the center of so much 20th century turmoil and blood, and redemption. I gotta say, for whatever his politics, Obama and his team are masters of perception and marketing and subtlety. If he can govern as well as he campaigns, we have an amazing 8 years ahead of us…
