I’m Alive

Sorry for the no writing that much for the last 6 weeks or so. I’ve gotten a few emails asking if I am alive and well.

I am.

I’m just super busy. Peter and I are on the verge of a major breakthrough on two DubCorp businesses. I will announce them here in a few weeks when they are ready. The launching of these two sites will be the culmination of not only the entire body of work we have been doing in Berlin, but also the realization of several ideas I came up with 4 or 5 years ago. Because of the business I was in during that time in San Luis, they would have never been realized, but the freedom I have now has made them possible. So to be brief, we’ve been busy as hell on some sick businesses that I am super excited about and have been a long time coming. In fact, I haven’t ever been this excited about launching a site since we first launched QuikCondoms.com almost 8 years ago. Maybe even more.

PLUS I’M RUNNING A FUCKING MARATHON IN A WEEK!!!!

Holy shit, I can hardly believe it. I remember telling StephTam about a year ago that I was going to try and run the Berlin Marathon and we both thought how cool that would be. At the time I was totally fat and out of shape and it seemed like a huge goal. But now a week away, and I am so excited I can hardly sleep. The course markers have gone up around the city and I see more runners out in the Tiergarten getting ready. As for me, I think I am going to do ok. I’m about 15-20 pounds lighter than when I arrived in Berlin and I feel like I can run forever. I ran 18 miles last Monday and it was not too bad. That said, boozing and being in smoky bars can’t help with training and up till 2 weeks ago, I was still doing a bit of that. So we’ll see. First race goal is just to finish ahead of all the grammaws and grampaws. I’ll work on speed and looking cool when I run on my next marathon, which I will probably sign up for right away; I’m thinking London in April or even the Great Wall Marathon in China. Who knows.

Lastly, Peter and I are getting ready to leave Berlin. We are going to move back in with Andre for the last month and get some real work done on our businesses. In 2 weeks we’re all going to go to Munich and get boozed in the Hof Brau tent like drunken idiots at Oktoberfest. Then it’s off to Buenos Aires, where spring is in full bloom and a hot sweaty summer is about to kick off.

I’ll try and write more, even short little updates. Hope everybody back home is well. I miss you guys!!!!
